Terry Homra

Graveside services were 3 p.m. Sunday at Cobbs Chapel Cemetery, with the Rev. Dale Batchelor officiating.
Pallbearers were David Blakely, Heath Cunningham, Jay Fox, Brent Johnson, William Powers and Tim Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Skipper Homra, Jack Hutchings, Tommy Mills and Danny Scott.
He was born Oct. 3, 1948, in Tiptonville, son of the late Lee and Jessie Pearline (Dickey) Homra. He married the former Evelyn Jane Alexander March 21, 1975. She survives.
He was a sheet metal worker for 35 years, beginning as an apprentice and ending as a journeyman. He was the former owner of Dickey’s Resort at Reelfoot Lake and was a commercial fisherman and fur trapper. He was also a hunting and fishing guide on Reelfoot Lake and had owned the former Homra’s Guide Service there.
He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jamil and Missy Homra of Ridgely and Kyle and Amber Homra of the Shawtown community; four grandchildren, Hannah Homra and Cameron Homra, both of Ridgely, and Carson Homra and Sawyer Homra, both of Shawtown; his brother and sister-in-law, Alex and Gail Homra of Savannah; his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bobby Cromwell of Savannah; two nephews, Brian Homra and Clint Cromwell, both of Nashville; and his niece, Laura Lee Jones of Memphis.
