Dale Royster, age 90, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at the Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bible Union Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Walker and Rev. Keith Sumner officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the church until service time with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements. He retired after being a self-employed plumber. He drove a bus for the Weakley County Schools and was a Gideon. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church in Martin. Royster is survived by his wife, Durell Jacobs Royster of Martin; his daughters, Pam (Tommie) Lemons of Martin and Tammy (Les) Wright of Memphis; his nephew, Mike Royster of Martin; brother, James (Shirley) Royster of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Will (Teresa) Lemons, Bart (Elisha) Lemons, Jared Wright and Joshua Wright; and four great-grandchildren, Kaleb Worrell, Brady Lemons, Price Lemons and Greyson Lemons.
