Mona Lynne Taylor, 52, gained her angel wings on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
Mona was the daughter of Freida Bushart of Spring Hill and Terry Taylor of South Fulton.
She leaves behind her brothers, Ty Bushart, Chad Taylor and Justin Taylor; her sisters, Hollie (Bushart) Holt and Bridgette (Taylor) Grogan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer and LaFaustine Mansfield and William and Alice Taylor.
Mona served as an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fulton, with many years of Sunday School perfect attendance, and a graduate of Lake Road Developmental Center.
She was also a champion of the Special Olympics program and made a memorable contribution to the Easter Seals Program.
Mona was loved by many in the local community and had many wonderful supporters that helped her exceed in her life, including Omni Support Services, a division of Caregivers Inc.; the staff of Dogwood Lane in Martin; special friends, Judy and Philip Andrews and family; Judy and Johnny Jones and family; Robert and Susan Rushing and family; and teachers Ann Damron and Ty Tanner.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Monday at the funeral home.
All were welcome to attend this celebration of Mona’s life.

Box 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570, https://colevowell.theworldrace.org, a discipleship program that spans 11 countries, in honor of Mona’s nephew, Cole Vowell, who will begin his mission work with them in October.
