Michele Barnes, 58, of Union City died Thursday, May 28, 2020, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Union City, with the Rev. Dr. Douglas Norfleet officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday at the church.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Michele was born on Aug. 4, 1961, in Union City, daughter of the late James and Audrey (Ligon) Williams.
She was director of the Obion County Public Library and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Union City, where she was a member of the New Covenant Sunday School class. She had been a member of the Obion County Junior Auxiliary, Alethian Review Club, CornFest Board, Obion County Chamber of Commerce, Obion County Leadership Board, Obion County Reading Railroad and the Promethian Board.

Michele is survived by a daughter, Avery Barnes of Chattanooga; two sons, Brennan Barnes of Union City and Garrison Barnes of Memphis; a granddaughter, Nova Reign Barnes; a sister, Donna Doss of Union City; a brother, Sherrill Williams of Hornbeak; four nieces, Leigh Ann Williams, Natalie Rauscher, Emily Marshall and Audrey Gregg; three nephews, Jason Williams, David Doss and Tilman Doss; and a host of friends.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Williams.
