Mrs. Jenner V. Barber-Thomas, 80, of Obion transitioned home Saturday evening, Nov. 16, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Troy Road Church of Christ in Obion, with Don Campbell and Ray Barber to officiate. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday at the church.

She was born Jan. 26, 1939, in Newbern, daughter of the late Callie Woods and Willie Woods.
She was a member of Whitlock Church of Christ. She worked as a housekeeper and homemaker. She enjoyed various arts and crafts, traveling and spending time with her family and beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Barber; her son, Barry Barber; and beloved pets.
She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Thomas; six daughters, Pam (Dwight) Pettis, Gloria (Paul) Jenkins, Janet (Barry) McKinney, Rhonda Genesy, LaSonya Barber and Bridgette Ward; one daughter-in-law, Pamela (Barry) Barber; two stepdaughters, Mona Thomas and Renee (Michael) Thomas-Anderson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
