Angelina (Sharp) Halbrook, 45, of Woodstock, Ga., formerly of Union City, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 21, 1974, in Rochester, Mich. She attended church in Ohio, Michigan and Elkhardt, Ind. She was saved in Wayne, Mich., and attended church camps in Indiana and Tennessee.
In Union City, she was a member of Union City Baptist Temple, then Cal-vary Baptist Church.
She attended Union City Middle School and Union City High School. She was a member of the Union City High School Marching Band, in which she played the xylophone. In concert band, she played the oboe. She also played the oboe as a member of the All-West Tennessee Junior High band.
She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and was employed at Barnes and Noble in Georgia for several years.
She was the daughter of the late Jim and Deanna Sharp of Union City.
She is survived by her children, Evan and Laci Halbrook of Woodstock; her brother, Roderick Sharp of Union City; nephews, Owen Sharp and Paxton Priest; and her niece, Destiny Sharp, all of Union City; her uncles, Victor Bergeron of Ninilichik, Alaska, Art Sharp of Morely, Mich., and Larry Sharp of Mecosta, Mich.; her aunts, Janice Alt of Sparta, Mich., Virginia Coles of Bear Creek, Wis., and Sara Bergeron of Prescott, Mich.; a grandmother, Dorothy Bergeron of Slandish, Mich.; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the church.
