FASHION FORWARD — Jana Phillips of Rives looked through the latest fashions being offered by regional businesses Monday evening during the annual CornFest Fashion Show Dinner. Vendors marketing and selling the latest fashions and accessories exhibited their wares in Art Hall prior to the fashion show in Dinosaur Hall, which was emceed by Brent Hinson. CornFest events continue today with the chalk art contest at the Obion County Public Library at 3:30 p.m., followed by a kids concert featuring Roger Day in the library’s amphitheater at 4. The elimination round for Idol competition will also be held this evening at 7 at Hops & Barley in Union City. Finalists will perform Saturday at 2 p.m. at Kiwanis Park for the chance to win $1,000.
