Jere Mack Cutler, 79, of Obion died Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Obion, with the Rev. Eric Walsh to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Obion First Responders, P.O. Box 547, Obion, TN 38240; or to Zion Cemetery c/o Greg Ervin, 4851 Jim Carver Road, Obion, TN 38240.
Family and friends will gather at the church at 1 p.m for visitation.
Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
He was born March 9, 1940, in Obion, the son of the late William Horace and Ellen (Wright) Cutler.
He was a self-employed farmer, a Methodist and attended First Baptist Church in Obion.
Survivors include his wife, Betty (Canady) Cutler of Obion; two daughters and their husbands, Renee (Russ) Webber of Obion and Ann (W.T.) Hime of Rives; a sister, Dorothy Brown of Memphis; a brother, William Horace “Chip” Cutler Jr. of Obion; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Fox.
