Mrs. Robbie Tanner, 99, of Union City died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, at the Ethridge House in Union City.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at White-Ran-son Funeral Home, with Dennis Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be her family members.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born on March 5, 1920, in Obion County, daughter of the late Odie and Lillie (Ring) Cloar. She married Cucil Tanner on Sept. 21, 1943, he passed away on Oct. 1, 1977.
She was a homemaker and a member of Rives Church of Christ.

She is survived by four nephews, Elwin Tanner of Union City, Dale Tanner of Troy, Dickie Dodd of Alabama and Kenneth Dodd of Fulton; three nieces, Kathy Anderson of South Fulton, Patricia Rawdon of Cookeville and Regina Mullins of Union City; a great-nephew, Kent Martin; great-nieces; Karen Hamilton, Karla Cannon and Terry Martin; and several other great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Allen Cloar; and a niece, Dorothy Jean Martin.
