Judith Ann McAlpin

Judith Ann McAlpin, 74, of Kenton passed away from this life on Monday, Aug. 12, 2019, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, with Brother Mickey Hanks officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 17, 1944, in Union City, daughter of the late I.R. “Peck” Johnson and the late Vida Demetra (Dodd) Johnson. She was a retired cook at the Kenton Dairy Bar, and was a member of New Concord Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children, Mary Beth Armour (Mike) and Samantha Green (Russ); one sister, Jane McCurdy (Johnny); and five grandchildren, Josh Hairston, James Riley, Raven Green and Shelley and Bryce Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Dale McAlpin; her son, Mike Gardner; her brother, Charles Ray Johnson; and her parents.
