WELCOME HOME — A look of overflowing love could be seen Tuesday night as Luke Parker embraced his son, Caleb, upon the return of 10 local high school students and their chaperones following a near two-week adventure to Europe. The students were selected for the trip following an interview process conducted by Union City Rotary Club members earlier this year. The students had a trip of a lifetime and some added adventure, or stress, when luggage for several members did not arrive in London on their first night. Students Olivia Dysart and Hudson Angel were without their luggage for the entire trip, having to purchase clothing along the way. When the group arrived in Nashville on Tuesday, Miss Dysart’s luggage was returned by the airline. Angel’s luggage is still missing-in-action.
