De’Cora Alexander

Miss De’Cora Chanice “Peaches” Alexander, age 20, died Saturday, May 11, 2019, in Union City. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. May 18 at Kingdom Harvest, 509 Forestdale Ave. in South Fulton. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the church. She was born on Nov. 16, 1998 in Fulton, Kentucky. She was a student at the University of Tennessee at Martin majoring in health and human performance, was a member of the Skyhawks dance team, worked as a cashier at the Cookout in Martin and for the Union City Wal-Mart, was a member of the United Church of the Living God in Fulton and had served in the 230th FSC National Guard in Trenton. De’Cora is survived by her father, Robert Alexander of Columbus, Kentucky; her mother, Teriny Myshea Taylor of Fulton; her grandparents, Donny Ray, Patricia Ray and Charlotte Wilson, all of Fulton and Terry Taylor of Hickman, Kentucky; her siblings, Leshia Taylor of Murfreesboro, De’Shawn Taylor of Union City, De’Vontae Alexander and Ashanti Taylor, both of Fulton, and Daysia Alexander of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Carl Michael Morris. Online tributes may be left at
