TEACHING THEIR PEERS

TEACHING THEIR PEERS — Every year a group of students at South Fulton High School participate in the Takedown Tobacco program. The program includes interactive stations that demonstrate the dangers of nicotine, vaping and traditional tobacco usage to their peers. The students hosted 160 students from South Fulton Middle School to attend the program and interact with six different stations to learn about how all tobacco is dangerous. The high school students included (seated, from left) Elizabeth Hunt, Cashayah McClerkin, Piper Roenicke, Rylen Kelly, Jacob Duty, (standing) Moses McKnight, Marco Lopez, Brandon Ransom, Alayna Snow, Tabby Gilliland and Sophia McMinn.
