RAINY WRECK — Emergency personnel worked diligently amid a steady and sometimes heavy rain late Monday morning to free the driver of a Mack truck which overturned about 11:15 a.m. on Highway 51, coming into the south side of the Troy city limits. The driver, 52-year-old Warren Darden of Dresden, was pronounced dead following the crash. The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported Darden was northbound on Highway 51 when the vehicle exited the side of the roadway into a ditch. It rolled once and came to final rest on the driver’s side. The truck’s 75-gallon propane tank leaked its contents, the THP reported.
