Dale Williams

Wallace “Dale” Williams, 76, of Dukedom passed away on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at his home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o 302 Carr Street, Fulton, KY 42041 or to Oak Grove Cemetery, c/o Paula Lamb, 620 Howard Road, Martin, TN 38237.
He was born on May 15, 1942, in Weakley County in the Chestnut Glade community.
He was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. He had also retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City, where he had worked as an inspector in final finish.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Hoffman (Bill) of Paducah, Ky.; a son, Mark Williams (Nicole) of Fulton; three granddaughters, Hannah McAlister of Paducah, Jayden Williams and Brooklyn Williams, both of Fulton; two stepgrandsons, Ryan Hoffman of Richmond, Va., and Alex Hoffman of Denver; a brother, Larry Williams of Whittier, Calif.; and two sisters, Susie Counce of Hornlake, Miss., and Kay Parnell of Dukedom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hale and Ioma Cavender Williams; a brother, Joseph Williams; a sister, Charlotte McClain; and a stepgrandson, Seth Hoffman.
