A WALK IN THE PARK — Six-year-old Caleb Hutchison of Fulton, a first-grader at Carr Elementary School there, paused Saturday night at the first stop on the Book Walk Through the Park, held during the Fulton Tourism Commission’s annual Christmas in the Park activities at Pontotoc Park downtown. The free book walk, hosted by Fulton Independent School Community Education and Gifted Program, featured the book “There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow.” Children collected items featured in the book as they walked along a path. Events at the park also included Supper with Santa and a chili supper sponsored by the Twin Cities Men’s Organization. Plus, a holiday bazaar was held throughout the day at the nearby Willingham Center.
