Brenda Sturgis

Mrs. Brenda Dan Sturgis, 72, of Union City passed away 8:21 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at The Waters of Union City.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Shane Long will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 25, 1945, in Fulton, daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth Naomi (Blaylock) Payne. She married Jimmy Dan Sturgis April 17, 1964. He passed away Aug. 27, 2006.
She was a homemaker and retired after working several years at the Snack Shop in Union City.
She is survived by two daughters, Missy Lyle of Union City and Stephanie Sturgis of Nashville; one grandson, Chase Lyle of Union City; and one sister, Sonja and Harold Duncan of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Chance Lyle; three brothers, Sidney Payne, Jimmy Payne and Sammy Payne; and one sister, Faye Faulkner.
