Mrs. Dorothy Imogene Gaskins, 90, formerly of Hickman, Ky., died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Strong Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry Callison and the Rev. Scott Fields officiating. Burial will follow Brownsville Cemetery near Hickman.
The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday at the funeral home.
She was a homemaker and a member of East Baptist Church in Hickman.
She was born in Hickman on Dec. 8, 1927, to the late Jodie Morrow and the late Audie (Cochrum) Morrow.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Donald Shepherd of Union City; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Regina Gaskins of Hickman; and sister, Faye Harris of Hoover, Ala. She was also blessed with six grandchildren, Randy Gaskins, Melanie Walker, Misty Dunn, Mindy McClanahan, Blake Callahan and Michael Fletcher; and 11 great-grandchildren as her survivors.
Her husband, James E. “Jimmy” Gaskins; sons, Donald Joe Gaskins and Ricky Gaskins; and sisters, Comella Smith and Jo Ella Henson also preceded her in death.
