Leon “Buddy” Poor, 94, of Obion died Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at his residence.
Funeral services were to be 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service was to be Rick Knoll and the Rev. John Poor. Interment was to follow in Yorkville Cemetery.
Visitation was to be from noon until hour of services today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were to be Dan Poor, Adam Poor, Joseph Jones, Tim Curtis, Ryan McAlister and John Carlton.
Honorary pallbearers were to be Greg Ferguson, Lowell Sanders and Mike Thomason.

Born Jan. 9, 1924, in Newbern, he was the son of the late Grady Poor and the late Tula Journey Poor.
He was a retired plant engineer with AT&T, a member of Oakridge Church of Christ and proudly served his county in the United States Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Martha R. Poor of Obion; one son, Mike Poor of Oakland; one step-son, Wayne Ashmore of Olive Branch, Miss.; two daughters, Wanda Jones of Eads and Sandy McCall of Rossville; one step-daughter, Annette McAlister of Olive Branch; two brothers, John Poor of Troy and Grady Poor of Illinois; two sisters, Jean Simpson of Dyersburg and Ann Bell of Union City; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wyaldean Holman Poor; two brothers, Harold Poor and Bob Poor; and one sister, Mary Avant.
