FIREARMS FOUND — Union City Police Department investigator Lt. Derrick O’Dell inventories some of the many stolen firearms recovered Tuesday after a search warrant was executed at a home on Pleasant Hill Road, near Rives in rural Obion County. The thousands of dollars’ worth of guns recovered had been reported stolen June 10 from a Troy man’s storage rental unit at 215 Westgate Drive in Union City. Two people were arrested Thursday for theft over $10,000 and one for accessory after the fact. They were charged by Union City police as the result of a joint investigation with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, 27th Judicial District Drug Task Force and Obion County Sheriff’s Department.
