Mrs. Joann Sanford, 87, of Obion died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at The Waters of Union City.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rosehill Cemetery, with Eugene Hudgins officiating.
There will be no visitation.
She was born April 10, 1931, in Trimble, the daughter of the late Perry and Beatrice (Harrison) Todd. She was married to Lewis Sanford. He preceded her in death March 18, 2015.
She was a seamstress for the former Trimble Manufacturing Company and a member of First Baptist Church in Obion.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Pat (Joe) Pitt of Hillsboro, Ala., and Quanetta (William) Webb of Trimble; three sons and their wives, Wayne (Jeanette) Sanford of Union City, Roger (Pam) Sanford of Rives and William (Bobbie) Sanford of Obion; a brother and his wife, Gwen (Eunice) Todd of Trimble; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Todd and W.L. Todd; and a sister, Gladys Isbell.
