Jeffrey (Jeff) Keith White died March 27, 2018, at Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau, Alaska, after a short battle with cancer and pneumonia. He was born Nov. 15, 1958, in Union City, where he spent most of his younger years.
He was the son of John Larry White and Ann Caldwell Kennedy. He had four brothers, John H., Terry J., Timothy (Tim) and an adopted brother, Danny Lakip.
Tim and Danny both preceded him in death, along with his father, John, and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Ann; and two brothers, John H. (Pat) and Terry (Lynn) and many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Obion County Central High School in 1977. He worked with his father in the plumbing business in Union City before moving to Juneau along with his family, where he lived for the rest of his life, except for a few years in Salem, Ore.
He married Lisa Hayes on Nov. 1, 1986. They had a son, Jeffrey; and a daughter, Mary Jo. He also had one grandson, Brahm.
He was very proficient in all aspects of the building trades and worked in that industry until his death. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He greatly loved his family and was especially helpful to his parents and grandparents. He was kind and caring to all elderly family members and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all.
