Juanita French

Mrs. Juanita Harlene French, 80, a resident of Union City died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with her son, the Rev. Shane Long, officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wayne Long, Tim Long, Caleb Long, David Long, Steve Beachum and Brandon Hutchison.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m today at the funeral home.
She was born on June 19, 1937, in Sheperdstown, W.Va., daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy Turner. She married Ed French on Oct. 1, 1982. He passed away April 3, 2001.
She worked as a Postmaster at the Rives Post office. She retired on Nov. 1, 1996, after 30 years with the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the Healing Faith Family Worship Center in Union City.
She is survived by three sons and their spouses, Billy Wayne and Robin Long, Tim and Trisha Long, and Shane and Kristy Long, all of Union City; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Beth Nielson, Abigail Long, Caleb Long, Sarah Long, Audrey Long, David Long and Natalie Long; two great-grandchildren, Drake Beard and Nolan Harbin.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Butch Turner.

    A mother’s love is a special gift that will live forever in the hearts of her children. I know the death of you mother is very painful because I lost my mother , Decenber,1 ,2017.
