Norma Ogden

Mrs. Norma Dean Ogden, 79, of Union City died Jan. 7, 2018, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Moore officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery near Ridgley.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Edwards, Mason Edwards, Justin Ogden, Jonathan Ogden, Joseph Ogden and Gavyn Ogden.
She was born on Aug. 8, 1938, in Bogota, daughter of the late J. W. and Edna (Whitlow) Green. She married Thelbert Ogden on July 7, 1953, and he survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Perfect Faith Tabernacle Church in Troy.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Ralph Edwards of Union City and Sarah and Danny Virgin of Sedalia, Ky.; four sons and daughters-in-law, Thelbert Lynn and Pat Ogden, Phillip and Ginger Ogden, Nathaniel Ogden and Sherri Tucker, and David and Deanna Ogden, all of Union City; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny Mac and Debbie Green of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Ogden; two sisters, Willie Mae Lowry and Martha Sue Green; and two brothers, J. R. Green and Travis Green.
