GIVING BACK — The clients of Westate Corrections Network and Westate Probation Services joined forces to collect non-perishable food for Trudy’s Kids Café, which provides free meals for children from birth to age 18 who have need. In under three weeks’ time, the clients collected about 4,000 canned and non-perishable food items, which surrounded the Christmas tree earlier this week at Westate’s offices on East Main Street in Union City. Sorting through the donated food items were (from left) clients Anna McBride of Union City and Rhonda Brown of Martin; felony probation officer Stephanie Buchanan; and clients Robert Jumper of Martin and Edward Brady of Union City.
