SPECIAL VISITOR — Discovery Park of America’s director of marketing Mary Nita Bondurant (right) congratulated 15-month-old Woods Rogers after he was the one-millionth visitor to the park Saturday morning. He was visiting the local educational facility with his grandfather, Chad Fultz of Obion, and his mother, Ivy Rogers of Dyersburg, as well as his grandmother, Darlene Fultz (not pictured), of Obion. Woods, Mrs. Rogers and Woods’ father, Bo Rogers (not pictured), each received lifetime memberships to the park, as well as a gift package including $200 cash, an overnight stay and dinner at Bluebank Resort on Reelfoot Lake, dinner for two from Sassafraz Restaurant in Union City, a bottle of wine from White Squirrel Winery, T-shirts and fudge from the Discovery Park Gift Shop and Cafe and a commemorative 2017 Christmas ornament.
