Bob Cook Jr.

Robert “Bob” Cook Jr., 74, of Union City died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at his home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials be made to: Faith & Deliverance Church, 103 Taylor St., South Fulton, TN 38257.
He was a member of the Faith and Deliverance Church in South Fulton, and a U.S. Army veteran who had served in the Vietnam War.
He had worked in the maintenance department at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City for 381⁄2 years and had lived in Union City most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pat Gordon Cook of Union City; a daughter, Karen (Paul) Devera of Union City; and a son, Robert C. Cook III of Winter Haven, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Tyler Edgin of Union City and Lauren (Jimmy) Ballog of South Korea.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cecil Cook Sr. and Amy Pauline Wells Cook; and two sisters, Lois Mae Johnson and Flora Jean Weatherly.
