HARD DECISIONS — Main Street-Union City vice president Amber Parker (left) and director Kristi Townes pored over the many entries in the annual ornament contest for the Community Christmas Tree Tuesday afternoon. Students who will represent their schools during the lighting ceremony tonight at 5:30 at the Obion County Courthouse by placing their winning entries on the tree are Chase Jenkins, a second-grader at Ridgemont; Kensley Jones, a second-grader at Black Oak; Christa Cashion, a seventh-grader at Hillcrest; Parker Ursery, a kindergartner at Lake Road; Morgan Puckett, a fifth-grader at South Fulton; and Jack Ryan Frilling, a fourth-grader at Union City Elementary. The Union City Christmas parade will follow at 7.
