TURKEY TROT — Chimes for Charity in Obion County will benefit from the upcoming Union City J’Cettes Turkey Trot 5K walk/run scheduled for Nov. 18 at Second Baptist Church in Union City. Registration will begin at 8 a.m., with the event starting at 8:30. The registration fee is $25, with checks made payable to Union City J’Cettes. Those wishing to participate may also send their check to Union City J’Cettes, P.O. Box 1415, Union City TN 38281; or register online by visiting https://form.jotform.com/72906730882160 in order to pay by credit card. No more T-shirt may be ordered. Participants who bring five or more canned goods to the event will be able to get $5 off their registration fee. {Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place winners in all age brackets. Those include ages 12 and younger, 13019, 20-29, 30-39. 40-49 and 50 and older.
