Joel Poole

Joel Sullivan Poole, 51, of Nashville, formerly of Union City, passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, in Nashville.
Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shady Grove United Methodist Church near Union City. The Rev. Brad Jordan will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Shady Grove United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Fun-eral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 10, 1966, in Union City, son of the late Monty Ray Poole and the late Carmen (Yates) Estraca. He served in the United States Army and was employed as a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Poole; two sons, Cort Sullivan Poole and Ethan Thomas Poole and their mother, Andrea Henry Poole, all of Haughton, La.; his stepmother, Doris Poole of Union City; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kim and Vance Parry of Bethel Springs and Tracy and Phillip Clark of Union City; and one brother, Forrest Poole of Elizabethtown, Ky.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Sullivan and Geneva Poole and John and Hazel Yates.
