Dorothy Sue “Susie” Cunningham Brooker, 59, of the Terrell community passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare Volunteer Martin as the result of injuries received in an accident on Tom Counce Road near South Fulton.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Roger McPeak will officiate.
Burial will follow in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pilot Oak, Ky.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday and after 1 p.m. Saturday.
The pallbearers will be her family.
Susie was born July 29, 1958, in Dyersburg, daughter of Stover (Joyce) Cunningham of Dukedom, and her late mother, Patricia Ann (Schoenke) Cunningham. She married Joseph Brooker July 11, 2015, after 15 years together. He survives.
She was a member of Beulah Land Cowboy Church where she was secretary of the Hope Outreach. She was also very involved with Celebrate Recovery® and worked for Fed-Ex as a delivery driver. She was also the former owner/operator of Family Bakery in Union City.
She is also survived by two sons, Thomas Lee Henry Bryant; his children Darryn Bryant and Audrey Bryant; and their mother, Jessica, all of Union City; her second son, Benjamin Alpha Alonzo (Heather) Bryant; his children, Johathan Byrant and Mallory Bryant, all of Union City; one brother, Steve (Jackie) Cunningham of Paducah, Ky.; and one sister, Laurie (John) Dacus of Dukedom.
