TAKING FLIGHT — Terry Carbonell (left), founder and president of Aviation Adventures, officially passed the yoke to Everett-Stewart Regional Airport manager Jo Ann Speer (second from left), while Obion County Central High School aviation class students listened, Friday afternoon at the airport near Union City. After five successful years in Florida, Mrs. Carbonell said Aviation Adventures will be relocating its headquarters to Union City to continue its work with youth from rural and underserved communities, with Mrs. Speer taking the reins. Mrs. Carbonell delivered Roxie Red Plane, a two-seat Cessna 150, which will allow the aviation students to incorporate flight training into their program.
