SUPPORTS THE ARTS — Little General/Cox Oil Co. presented the Community Concert Association of Union City/Obion County with a check for $10,000 on Wednesday as the association prepares for its upcoming 2017-18 concert season. On the schedule of events this year are performances by BritBeat on Oct. 7, local school choirs for a Chimes for Charity benefit on Dec. 3, Neave Trio on Feb. 17, 2018, and Tony Pace on March 17, 2018. All concerts will be held at Union City Civic Auditorium. Memberships will soon be available for purchase.
