Bimbo Blakley

Cleveland Ray “Bimbo” Blakley, 63, of Obion died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. James Love officiating.
Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.
Pallbearers will be Donald Bloxom, Jamie Powers, Tracy Wisdom, Scottie Jones, Jim Wisdom and Jimmy Smith.
Friends may call at the funeral from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
Mr. Blakley was born Feb. 22, 1954, in Tiptonville, son of the late James Leon and Helen Pearl (Schaffer) Blakley. He was a tree trimmer for Asplundh and a member of New Faith Worship Center in Obion.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa (Jones) Blakley of Obion; his son, Brad Blakley of Obion; two daughters and their husbands, Staci and Darrel Butler and Traci and Bobby Lucas, all of Obion; two brothers, Stevie Blakley and Johnny Blakley, both of Hornbeak; three sisters, Patricia Powers of Obion, Vicky Huey of Hornbeak and Amy Blackley of Ridgely; his sister-in-law, Donna Blakley of Troy; three granddaughters, Leanna Clark of Sharon, Brianna Jones of Obion and Bradley Ray Blakley Jr. of Mount Eagle; and a great-grandchild, Emerson Grace Clark of Sharon.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Blakley; and a granddaughter, Anna Renea Blakley.
