A LOOK INSIDE — Dogs rescued Friday night from inside a home at 1912 East Main St. in Union City were found loose and without food or water inside the feces-strewn home, according to Animal Rescue Corps, a national animal protection nonprofit organization which worked in conjunction with the Union City Police Department and the Union City Department of Animal Control during the operation. The organization said adult dogs and a newborn puppy allegedly exhibited signs of severe, chronic neglect, including broken bones, emaciation, mange, dehydration, intestinal worms, external parasites, runny eyes and alopecia. Several large chained dogs, including Labradors and hounds, were also found outside on the property.
