Blake Roberts

K. Blake Roberts, 32, of Philpot, Ky., died Monday, July 24, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital as the result of an ATV accident. He was the grandson of Dianne Critchlow of Union City.
He was born Jan. 10, 1985, in Owensboro, Ky. He was a 2003 graduate of Daviess County High School and a graduate of Western Kentucky University.
His life’s dream was to be a police officer. He was enrolled in the police academy and had been hired by the Owensboro Police Department.
He enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing and all things outdoors. He was the best father, husband, son and brother and the best friend you could ever have.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Roberts; and his granny, Margaret Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Sammi Roberts; two daughters, Spencer and Sutton Roberts; his mother, Dana Jarvis (Mike) of Owensboro; a brother, Austin Roberts of Philpot; his sister, Erin Wegrzyn (Michael) of Arkansas; his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Shirley Roberts of Owensboro; his maternal grandfather, Daryle Lambert (Vickie) of Texas; his father- and mother-in-law, Dan and Monica Holley of Owensboro; his sister-in-law, Dani Thomas (Tyler) of Owensboro; his brother-in-law, Tyler Holley of Owensboro; his nieces and nephew, Elizabeth Roberts, Kennedy Holley and Tanner Wegrzyn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery in Philpot.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
