Stephanie Thompson

Stephanie Reneé Thompson, 49, of Union City passed away 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will follow in Graves Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be David Banks, Mike Thompson, Larry Thompson, David Cloar, John Cloar and Thomas Pituch.
Stephanie was born April 20, 1968, in Greenville, Miss., daughter of Garlon and Jeannie Banks of California. She married Paul Thompson Feb. 14, 1995. He survives. Stephanie had been employed as a medical transcriptionist and was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed playing the piano.
She is also survived by two brothers, David (Kathy) Banks of Lake Orion, Mich., and James (Mary) Banks of Valley Park, Mo.; and her nieces and nephews, David Banks and Michael Banks, both of Rochester Hills, Mich., Valorie Banks of Lake Orion, and William Banks, Kimberly Banks and Alexandria Banks, all of Valley Park.
She was the granddaughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Huckelbery and Garlon and Fontain Banks; and was the niece of the late Judy Huckelbery.
