Marie Wilhaucks

Mrs. Marie Wilhaucks, age 98, of Martin died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at the Diversicare of Fulton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Friday until the hour of service.

She was a member of McConnell Baptist Church, where she was the oldest member, a member of the Joy Sunday School Class, WMU and the Ladies of Faith. She lived in the McConnell community all of her life.
Mrs. Marie is survived by a daughter, Peggy McConnell of South Fulton; five grandchildren, Mark (Angela) Wilhaucks of Humbolt, Stephanie (Paul) Maxwell of South Fulton, Jeff (Lee) Wilhaucks of Huntsville, Ala., Melissa (Donald) Hardin of Medina, Kelly (Chad) Gerber of Bethalto, Ill., 11 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Virginia Wilhaucks of South Fulton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James “Buck” Wilhaucks, whom she was married to for 56 years; a son, James “Doodle” Wilhaucks Jr.; her parents, Lon and Minnie Damron Hastings; three sisters, Christine Long, Annie V. Brundige and Dorothy Wrather; and a son-in-law, Bobby McConnell.
