BOOKIN’ IT — Kirstan Robbins of Troy took advantage of the sunshine and pleasant temperatures Wednesday afternoon as she spent some time reading to her children, 4-year-old Gracie and 15-month-old Axle, at the Obion County Public Library’s park, located behind the library building in Union City. After spending a few minutes reading indoors under the gazebo in the children’s department, the trio tried a comfortable spot on a park bench beneath the shade of a tree, where Axle had a good view of a rabbit nibbling on the grass nearby. The library’s spacious park area is entirely fenced and has several benches, making it the perfect place for families to enjoy reading with their children.
