Marguerite Mooney

Marguerite Mooney, 80, a resident of Tiptonville, died May 15, 2017, at Union City Manor Nursing & Rehab Center.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
A private burial will follow in Salem Cemetery at a later date.
Ms. Mooney was born on Feb. 18, 1937, in Tiptonville to the late Van and Willie B. (Shell) Work.
She worked as a waitress for 42 years and last worked at Folk’s Folly in Memphis.
Ms. Mooney is survived by her son, Monte Mooney; one granddaughter and her husband, Elizabeth and Michael Paul Miller of Union City; her great-granddaughter, Molly Grace Miller of Union City; and two sisters, Elnor “Dee” Work of Union City and Carrie Lee Work Lanier of Tiptonville.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Morris Work, Herman Work, Harris Work and Joe Work; and four sisters, Hilda Dobson, Lilian “Babe” Stover, Catherine Work and Laura Kate Work.
