MISSILE LANDING — After years of effort, Discovery Park of America will soon be showing off its latest addition — the Titan One Missile. Donated by NASA, the missile was found by DPA docent Hugh Wade at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala., in a state of disrepair. After years of paperwork, the missile arrived in Union City, where brothers Jeff Ursery and David Ursery of BR’s Restoration have been sandblasting, painting and restoring it. When completely installed in the STEM Landing area at DPA, it will rise to about 110 feet. The new display will be open to the public beginning May 16.
