June Bennett

June Eilene (Artlip) Bennett, 83, of Hornbeak died April 16, 2017, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandt Holmes, Joseph Hoffmeyer, Bob Alderink, Steve Alderink, Alex Wray and Gary Tate.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jace Hall and Casper Kidner.

She was born June 22, 1933, in Michigan, daughter of the late Jon Artlip and Lillian (Ramsey) Artlip. She married Jewell Bennett June 13, 1968. He died June 24, 2001. She was a retired employee of the Union City Walmart store, where she served as a department head. She was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church, where she was a member of Woman’s Missionary Union. She was a member of Crystal Family and Community Education Club and had been a volunteer worker at many other organizations.
She is survived by six daughters and five sons-in-law, Dawn and Danny Alderink and Karen and Roger Kidner, all of Muskegon, Mich., Cherry and John Gallery of Castle Rock, Colo., Nancy and Terry Roberts and Shelia Collins, all of Hornbeak, and Judy and Danny Coleman of Dyersburg; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sue Holmes of Monument, Colo.; her sister, Joyce Johnson of Muskegon; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lily Montgomery; two sons, Ray Holmes and Jewell Bennett Jr.; and two brothers.
