Gaylon Zaricor

Gaylon Zaricor, 87, of South Fulton died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Clinton-Hickman Co. ICF nursing home in Clinton, Ky.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Woodman of the World and a Mason in Berclair Lodge No. 771 in Memphis. He was a Korean War veteran who served in U.S. Army with the rank of private first class from 1953-1955.
He married the former Bobbie Lou Lane Dec. 22, 1953, in Corinth, Miss., and was married for 55 years before her death on March 17, 2009. He had worked as a barber in Memphis for 38 years and retired in 1995. He then moved to South Fulton in 2010 to be close to his niece and caregiver, Renee Gaylord of South Fulton.
He is also survived by his sister, Ethel Galloway of South Fulton; his niece, Regina Davis; and two nephews, Keith Townley and Benny Zaricor.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, George Marion G.M. Zaricor and Ollie (Mayberry) Zaricor; two brothers, Bobby Zaricor and Billy Zaricor; and his sister, Shirley Townley.
