Jeffrey David Laird, 20, of The Colony, Texas, died Feb. 23, 2014.
Jeffrey was born on Jan. 7, 1994, in Memphis, the son of Kyle David Laird and Deanna McCoy Laird. He graduated from The Colony High School in 2012.
Jeffrey is survived by his father, Kyle David Laird, and wife, Gina, of Oxford, Miss.; his mother, Deanna Laird Bento and husband, Mark; brothers, Jonathon Laird of Dallas and Jason Laird and wife, Rebecca, and nephew Hunter of McKinney, Texas; half-sisters, Allison Bento and Nicole Bento; step-sister, Meagan Williamson of Hendersonville; step-brother, Cody Truett of Oxford; aunts, Deanna Connelly and Amanda Mitchell, both of Mesa, Ariz.; grandparents, David and Nancy Laird of Rio Rancho, N.M.; great-grandmother, Serena Williams of Union City; and great-aunt, Sally Casey and husband, Phillip, of Union City.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Fredric Williams of Union City.
Jeffrey’s funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Restland Memorial Chapel in Dallas.
