Bill Morris

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Presson will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
He was born July 17, 1926, in Hickman, Ky., son of the late Ernest Lee Morris and the late Maggie Viola Craddock. He married the former Wilma Presson March 11, 1948. She survives. He had been employed as a truck driver for the former Reelfoot Packing Co. and was the owner and operator, with his wife, of the former Pizza U.S.A. near Union City. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was of the Baptist faith.
He is also survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Kathy Morris of Cookeville and Donnie and Glenda Morris, Gary Morris and David and Carol Morris, all of Union City; his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tom Jernigan of Union City; his brother, Gaylon Morris of Hickman; his sister, Jenny McCartney of Union City; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Clayton Lynn Morris; and two sisters, Dorothy Madden and Inez Young.
