Thurman Snyder

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Revs. Robin Rotgers and Archie Larry officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zack Hampton, Harley Lambert, Matthew Roberson, Guy Roberson, Will Thralls and Jackie Bishop.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born May 8, 1950, in Union City, son of the late Thurman Snyder and the late Betty (Fitzpatrick) Snyder Cagle. He married the former Mary Smith Aug. 16, 1974. She survives. He was a former truck driver for Warterfield Grain and Day After Day Trucking Co. in Union City, where he worked for more than 20 years.
He was a member of Greater Vision Church of God in Troy.
He is also survived by two daughters and his son-in-law, Michelle Hogg of Tiptonville and Brittney and Zack Hampton of Dyersburg; two grandsons, Drake Hogg and Braden Crawford, both of Tiptonville; his aunt, Bertha Nanney of Woodland Mills; two uncles and aunts, Jerry and Bonnie Fitzpatrick of Springfield, Mo., and J.R. and Florence Fitzpatrick of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Margie Smith of Troy; his brother-in-law, Mike Smith of Union City; and two sisters-in-law, Pat Hogg and Kathy Roberson, both of Troy.
