Services were 3 p.m. Sunday at Troy’s Main Street Church of Christ, with Bobby Stewart and John Harris officiating. Burial followed in Obion County Memorial Gardens. White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Greg White, John Harris, Matt Harris, Billy Joe Phillips, Michael Johnson, Travis Johnson, Brent Johnson, Jason Johnson, Joe Johnson and Terry Wiseman. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Fowlkes, Joe Fowlkes, Lyn Maloney, Bim Barker, Kevin Johnson, Joey Cranford, David Cranford, Jim Cranford, Jay Warren, Kyle Phillips, Wayne Barker, Scott Barker and Jimmy Barker.
The family requests that memorials be made to Main Street Church of Christ in Troy or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
She was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Obion County, daughter of the late Autry and Bernice (Forbus) Cranford. She was a sitter with the elderly and a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Greg White of Union City; her son and his companion, Brian Barker and Lisa Capps of Troy; four grandchildren, Lori Barker of Troy, Jay Warren of Murfreesboro, Chelsee White of Trenton and Bryan White of Union City; her sister, Linda Smethwick of Union City; and her brother, Terry Cranford of Troy.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Josephine Phillips, Sarah Harris and Sammie Johnson; and two brothers, Norris Cranford and Billy Cranford.
