June Elliott

June Elliott, 87, of South Fulton died Aug. 27, 2013, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
She was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church and was the owner of the former Elliott’s Grocery. She came to this area in 1964 from Graves County.
She is survived by four sons, Carl Elliott of Mayfield, Ky., Calvin Elliott of Water Valley, Ky., Charles Elliott of Martin and Cloys Elliott of Danville, Va.; and four daughters, Cathy Webb South Fulton, Carolyn Doster of Dresden, Camela Meriwether of Olympia, Wash., and Cheryl Gatewood of South Fulton; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Gene Elliott; one daughter, Cinda Elliott Lamb; one brother, Bill J. Hendrick; and her parents, Herman E. and Iva Jones Hendrick.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at South Fulton Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Clark Cemetery.
Friends may call the church from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
Hornbeak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
